Ibrahim Ahmed Kamal....the legendary guitarist from Bangladesh.
almost every guitarist in Bangladesh follow some World famous guitarist blindly ,Kamal are totally unique on this case........ his uses of finger,skipping,using tremolo,fastest reffing,shredding,melody.....what you want???
Kamal are the real package.

The meaningful solos are hard to hear or find in BD music scene. when you hear a guitar solo it should make you think that "how the hell the guitarist played that piece"???? what he was thinking while he was creating it??? A solo doesn't mean that it has to be a shredding one. a 5 notes solo can be ever green solo as well. Its all about the emotion/technique/mode transitions/anger/invention = a total package & Kamal did all those stuffs from past 27 years.

Kamal did amazing solo on Warfaze's Boshe Achi Eka,Ekti Chele,Shadhikar,Ashamajik,Hotasha,Nei Proyojon,Dhupchaya,Alo,Beywarish,Rupali Chand,Heali,Shok & a lot's other.In Aurthohin kamal did amazing solos on Guti the Finale,Nikkristo,Aushomapto & Hollow

Kamal is the founder member of Pioneer Rock/Metal band Warfaze.He join another top band from Bandgladesh Aurthohin in 2006.
Only musician who play with two top band at same time.

May people remember Kamal only for his amazing guitar works.But kamal are an amazing song writer & composer too.
He wrote song like Ashamajik,Nei Proyojon,Mukti Chai,Hotasha,Omanush,Protikkha etc.All those lyrics are meaningful.
Kamal composed a lot of track for Warfaze;some of them are Shadikar,Nei Proyojon,Heyali,Ashamajik,Alo,Ar kotokal,Sritigulo,Ondho Jibon,Hotasha,Mukti Chai & many more.

In 1984 , Kamal, Mir, Helal, Naimul and Bappy formed a band & the name of that band's are Warfaze.
Their lintup was

at that time Bangladesh was used to with pop ,folk  etc kind of music . A very small amount of people used to listen to hard rock and heavy music which was in English.Warfaze want's go with small amount ............they love to listen those 80's Heavy Metal band's from around the World.So they start covering those number's.

But very soon Mir, Helal, Naimul and Bappy left the band.At that time Kamal meet Tipu.
They talked a lot & decide continue Warfaze.They reformed the line up

they did a couple of show's in auditorium/halls/hotels.In those day's open air concerts was just in musician's dream.
In 1988 they attract Maqsoodul Haque(Vocal-Feedback & BAMBA president at that time) in a concert in Hotel Sonargaon.
Maqsood was stunned to watch them.He can't believe that a bangladeshi Band could perform Heavy Metal with full energy.

Maqsood convince other BAMBA member (Hamin Ahmed,Boggie,Naqib Kahn) to gave them a chance & they agree with it.
So warfaze along with Rockstrata,In Dhaka & ACES the four metal freak of Dhaka perform in 1988 BAMBA concert in Udoyon School field.

#In a concert with Sunjoy & Fuad ibn Rabbi,1998#

In year 1990 Warfaze release their first single "Shadhikar" in a mixed album Hurray(হুররে!).Which was a compilation of solo and band artist.The song "Shadhikar" was composed by kamal.Rashed left the Band & Sweet venoms vocal Sunjoy filled the place.Warfaze add a permanent Keyboardist/Guitarist; & he was "Russel Ali" former keyboardist of "Orbit".so their lineup was

They start recording their 1st studio album with that lineup.
In December,1990 after Ershad's fall(Bangladeshi President,1990) BAMBA arrange first open air concert in TSC.
December 16,1990 Warfaze performed in front of almost 8 to 10 thousand(People who watch that show gave that info).Sunjoy spellbind audiences with his high pitched bangla heavy number & Kamal show rest of other what is Guitar & what's it's use.Warfaze perform 4 songs
Shadikar,Boshe Achi,Ekti Chele & another one(People forget which one they perform).

#With his Gear#

Warfazw released their self-titled album, Warfaze, in 1991 on the banner of Sargam. Back in the 1990's Bangladeshi music listener were still new to metal. Any lyrics other than those inspired by romanticism or patriotism were rare. It took several weeks before the album started to be appreciated.All those songs written by Mishuk,Babna & Kamal.Composed by Warfaze members. They did their first follow up concert on 07 January 1992 at the Rawa Club.

In that time Kamal play Bass witj ACES as a guest in Live concerts .

In 1994 Warfaze release their 2nd album "Obak valobasha" a real kickass album with full of heavy number.
Kamal & Russel Ali was brilliantly show their class.In "Obak valobasha" warfaze did some thing which no BD band could ever think of doing ... a real Metal Album.. consists of ear-tearing metal songs showing what they really capable of with song like "Ondho jibon", "Shekhano bornona","Anno Vubon","Keu Nei Eka"

Between "Obak vlobasha" & "Jibondhara" Warfaze release a compilation album along with country's top 5 bands "Dhun".
In that album Warfaze did 2 tracks Mukti chai(Heavy number full of guitar solo.....fastest riff & so on)
& Mone pore(Touchy & Melodious solo by Kamal)

In 1997 Warfaze release their 3rd album "Jibondhara".
Kamal did some toughest guitar solos on that.Specially Dhupchaya.Jibondhara.Cromosho.Rupali Chad.Nishchup

In Bassbaba's project album "Sumon O Aurthohin" along with Bassbaba & Fuad Ibn Rabbi; Kamal did an Instrumental track titled Mission Accomplished(1st instrumental in Bangladesh)

In 1998 Warfaze release their 4th album "Ashamajik"
Kamal show up his uniqueness with playing with two guitarist like Fuad ibn Rabbi & Iqbal Asif Jewel .
The song Ashamajik,Nei Proyojon was the real kickass by Kamal.

In 2001 Warfaze release their 5th album "Alo"
Kamal did some great job on "Ar kotokaal","Mrittu Eliji","Alo","Joto Durey"(Only solos),

#At B&H concert,1998 with Jewel & Bassbaba#

In 2003 after Warfaze's 6th album "Moharaj" Kamal left his own band Warfaze for some personal reason.

In year 2004 Kamal release an Instrumental "Arrival" in compilation album Agontuk-2.

In next year He released an other Instrumental "Desert Storm" in compilation album "Adhar 2"


In 2005 Bassbaba asked Kamal to play as a guest in Aurthohin concert's .Kamal agree and did a couple of gigs.After that 2006 Aurthohin offered Kamal as a permanent member & he joined the band.
In 2006-07 with Kamal Aurthohin released 3 singles
Protirup(Underground)
Hollow/Attohonon 2(Live Now)
Nirbodh(Underground 2)
 all of those are heavy number & kamal play lot's of solo's with Shishir(Aurthohin's other guitarist)

In 2007 Warfaze asked Kamal to re-join them.He accept the offer & re-join the band.

In 2008 Warfaze arrange a re-union concert with all their former & current member in Hotel Sheraton.
They perform all their hit songs with their former member Russel,Babna,Bassbaba,Sunjoy.
That was a real memory for music lover.One of the best concert ever in town.

In 2008 Aurthohin release their 5th album Aushomapto(Kamal's 1st with them).The album was a big hit.
Kamal did amazing guitar solo's in Aushomapto,Nikkristo,Anmoney & Guti the Finale

In Guti the Finale Kamal & Shishir did 6 guitar solo..........& all of them are amazing,in human,dramatic.
Kamal did 3 of those solo's.

2009,Warfaze release a best of Warfaze album Titled "Pothchola"
Kamal did amazing stuffs with Oni(Other guitarist of Warfaze)  in Warfaze's classic tracks in new flavor.They did amazing new number also.......Tumake(Guitar work by Kamal & Oni) & Omanush(Kamal wrote the track & did guitar solo)

In year 2007-2009 Kamal did a ton's of live show's with Warfaze & Aurthohin .
Later part of 2009 he got ill & after a treatment Kamal back in action again.But his luck didn't support him;
he fall sick again & passing long term treatment in 2010-11.Whenever he get well he play with his Bands.

Now his quite okay.Hope that very soon the Guitarman will back in action.
