Raef al Hasan Rafa; one of the multi talented musician form Bangladesh.
Rafa plays different instruments for different bands such as Aurthohin, KraL, Severe Dementia & The Joint Family.
all those bands Genre are different too.But rafa are so talented that he easily adjust all of them.
In Aurthohin Rafa play Drums & Vocal;Their genre are Soft rock/Metal
He plays drums for Severe Dementia; a death metal band.
Drummer and Vocal for Kral, a progressive metal band.
Lead guitar and vocal for his own band 'The Joint Family',Ambient Progressive Rock.
At the same time Rafa are the busiest sound engineer & music producer.
He did some TV commercials music too.
In 2011 he starts a music school "HOOK" with Saadi Muktafi(Rafa's elder brother;Guitarist on Kral).
Rafa start his studio "Hotbox" in some years back;now it's one of the busiest studio on town.
Rafa did guest appearances with the band X-fector,Dr-Doctor,FnF in live concerts.

#Playing Guitar on a show#
In year 2003 Aurthohin start recording their 4th Studio album "Dhrubok"
at that time they searched for a second vocal on band & very soon they meet Rafa that time Rafa playing
drums & vocal on his brothers Band "Kral".
In "Dhrubok" Rafa doesn't pick any pick or stick because of their amazing lineup.
That album Rafa gave voice on
Bijoyer Gaan(A groovy number)
Morichika(Old School Aurthohin metal)
Guti from Hell(3rd installment of Guti)
Ashte Sotto(Metal)
Somadhi Sohor(Metal)
that album was a big hit.Rafa got some fame at teen age.
But still now Rafa did only the Voice part for Aurthohin.In 2004 bands longtime guitarist Piklu left the band.
Aurthohin decide they continue journey with rest of them......Rafa took the guitar with Shishir.
In 2004-05 Aurthohin release 2 single's Boyos(Lokayot) & Itihash(Agontuk 3)
Rafa did excellent job on those tracks.
After those day's Rafa used to compose and create his own songs but didn't know how to record them. So he took a software from Bassbaba in order to experiment on how to record songs in his computer efficiently and clearly, and since his brother used to make his own songs and recorded them, he started taking interest in his works.
In 2006-07 Aurthohin again release 3 singles Protirup(Underground),Hollow(Live Now) & Nirbodh(Underground 2).
In Protirup rafa did amazing screaming,growling .........& make it a real heavy number with other brilliant member of Aurthohin.
In 2007,Shuvo Aurthohin's longtime Drummer left the band for personal reason.Rafa took the stick;
surprisingly he maintain it in Live concert & recording till now.There are only a few Drummer in world
who did the voice too........& in live concert!!it's very very difficult to maintain both Drums & Vocal part.

After a long break of 5 years Aurthohin start their 5th Studio Album Aushomapto 1.
For the 1st time Rafa sang some melodious soft number for Aurthohin
Anmoney..........an amazing track written by Bassbaba & compose/voice by Rafa.
everyone just fall in this track.......a real touchy one.
Title track of the Album;Aushomapto he did the voice part with Bassbaba

at the same album Rafa sang & compose Nikkristo (Written by Bassbaba) a real heavy number for headbangers.
Rafa show his talent on singing totally different genre in different style.
Between 2008-2011 Aurthohin did a lot's of Live show's around the country & Rafa along with Aurthohin rock the nation.
November,2011.........Aurthohin release their 6th album Aushomapto 2..........with variety of genre Soft rock,Heavy Metal,Punk Rock.......They record the album on only 96 hours in Bassbaba's personal studio StudiBass.Rafa
did the mixing & mastering for Ausomapto 2 in his studio "Hotbox"
Rafa did excellent job's in Aushomapto-2.
He did all the drum works,Compose & tune 3 songs,did couple of guitar solos,1 sitar solo & lot's of voice work.
& in Nikkristo-2/_|_ he cross all his limit.............\m/
